Val di Non is situated in the north-western part of the Trentino region. The small river Noce flows through the valley.
This part of Trentino is well-known for its geological features: the valley consists of a series of three plateaus which are divided by several gorges and ravines with water-cycles flowing on their grounds. The deepest gorge is to be found nearby the town of Cles, next to the artificial lake of Santa Giustina.

| In Val di Non there are also numerous sites of historical relevance that tacitly recall past times: castles, palaces, aristocratic domiciles, frescos and religious sites, such as the famous monastery of San Romedio. |
